Please read the following information if you are a vendor desiring to obtain a booth space. If you have any questions, contact us.

Food vendors

As is the case each year, all food vendor applications are due by December 15th, along with full payment. You will be notified by mid-January if your application has been accepted.

  • Boiled crawfish will not be allowed. You will be allowed to sell soft drinks, as well as coffee, tea, lemonade, etc.
  • Fried fish booths are preassigned to local groups. No other catfish can be fried. All food booth locations are preassigned.
  • The number of booths will be limited. A photo and complete size and electrical requirements of your operation must accompany this application. Commercial food vendors must provide proof of insurance.
  • Booths/trailers/tents must be set up on Friday afternoon and can not be removed until after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
  • Each participant is responsible for their own operation, and must provide an adequate fire extinguisher.
  • Limited overnight camping is available.
  • Vendors are required to collect sales tax. You will receive your tax packet upon registration at the festival. Other tax information will be sent with your acceptance letter.
  • Make check payable to Franklin Parish Catfish Festival and mail to the address listed above. Payment must accompany this form. All checks will be deposited and refunds will be made in January to those not accepted.
  • Motor vehicles do not move within the festival from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on festival day.

Arts & Crafts vendors

  • 100% of items sold must be handmade by the exhibitor. If that is not the case for your items, you will need to apply as a commercial vendor.
  • Booth space is 12' wide x 10' deep.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, chairs, extension cords, etc.
  • Confirmation and refusal notices will be sent out with booth space assignments in March, 2014.
  • The festival reserves all rights to use the festival name and logo. Any items with the unauthorized use of either will be removed.
  • Vendors must collect sales tax. You will receive a tax packet upon registration at the festival. Other tax information will be sent with your acceptance letter. If you are in arrears on sales tax from a previous festival, your application will not be considered.
  • The festival reserves the right to remove any items deemed unsuitable or unsafe for a family-oriented show.
  • Photos must accompany your application. All fees are non-refundable.

Commercial vendors

  • Booth space is 12' wide x 10' deep.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, chairs, extension cords, etc.
  • Motor vehicles do not move within the festival from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on festival day.
  • Confirmation and refusal notices will be sent out with booth space assignments in March, 2014.
  • The festival reserves all rights to use the festival name and logo. Any items with the unauthorized use of either will be removed.
  • Absolutely NO spray string, invisible ink products, pepper spray, fireworks products, or recreational knives are allowed. The festival reserves the right to remove any items deemed unsuitable or unsafe for a family-oriented show.
  • Vendors are required to collect sales tax. You will receive your tax packet upon registration at the festival. Other tax information will be sent with your acceptance letter.
  • Representative photos of the items sold must accompany your application.

Educational vendors

  • Booth space is 12' wide x 10' deep.
  • All tables must be covered and vendors are responsible for their own tables, etc.
  • Space is limited. Booth space assignments will be mailed in March, 2014.
  • The festival reserves all rights to use the festival name and logo. Any items with the unauthorized use of either will be removed.
  • Make check payable to Franklin Parish Catfish Festival and mail to the address listed above.
  • The festival reserves the right to remove any items deemed unsuitable or unsafe for a family-oriented show.
  • No items are allowed to be sold from an educational booth.
  • The number of educational booths are very limited. The festival reserves the right to the acceptance and final placement of all educational booths and activities within the festival grounds.
  • Motor vehicles DO NOT MOVE within the festival from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Local fundraiser

  • Booth space is 12' wide x 10' deep. All tables must be covered and vendors are responsible for their own tables, etc.
  • Non-food items only. No water or soft drink sales.
  • Confirmation and refusal notices and booth space assignments will be mailed in March, 2014.
  • The festival reserves all rights to use the festival name and logo. Any items with the unauthorized use of either will be removed.
  • Vendors are required to collect sales tax if applicable. Vendors are responsible for all aspects regarding the collection of sales tax on festival day.
  • The festival reserves the right to remove any items deemed unsuitable or unsafe for a family-oriented show.
  • The number of fundraiser booths are very limited. The festival reserves the right to the final placement and activities of all fundraising booths within the festival grounds.
